WOLVERINE 8 (LEGACY 400) painted cover
Variant cover for WOLVERINE #8, the milestone 400th issue published in the US in April 2025.
The character of Romulus was created for Marvel by Jeph Loeb and Simone in 2009, and he reappears, relaunched, in Wolverine's current run; this painted cover is Simone's homage to the first character he designed for Marvel.
Fighting Romulus are both Wolverine and X-23; the three are inside a metal structure, made of pipes and lights, while ominous flames rise beneath them.
