SKETCHBOOK XX

Signed and numbered softcover book containing the sketches, studies and preparatory drawings of the main artworks created by Simone Bianchi between 2019 and 2022, divided in 2 volumes.

The Sketchbook XX is an edition divided in 2 volumes containing the sketches, preparatory drawings and intermediate stages of the most significant works Simone Bianchi has made in the latest years.  A special behind the curtains showing the covers, illustrations and paintings concepts and their development throughout the creative process.

This sketchbook will give the illustration passionate access to the first stages of the different artworks, and his fans and collectors will fully immerge in his artistic world.

The sketchbooks contains superhero preliminary drawings as well as illustrations inspired by Simone’s music passion and committed by the music industry, like the 2022 Miami TOOL concert poster; also, Fantasy artwork like the Death Dealer #1 original cover, or private commissions, which wouldn’t be visible elsewhere.

As the Samurai on the cover confirms once more, the suggestions influencing Simone’s art through the years are different and they gave birth to an artistic path by many facets.
